Nothing earth shattering, but something I did notice, and maybe it's just because I had good friends all around, there was more pushback from other women than men.
All my assigned-male friends were pretty okay with this, and were supportive. But I wasn't friends with over testosteroned jocks or dude-bros, so maybe there's something to that.
My assigned-female friends were split about 80/20 for/against. Most all my girlfriends were absolutely okay with my transition, many even downright celebrating it (looking at you, Steph). There was some pushback from others though - one who specifically called me a freak, and another who just handwaved our friendship away because I suddenly became "too wierd."
