dolariSo because my Paid Time Off and Sick Time Off are the same thing, my 2022 Vacation plans have gone from from "FINALLY take the Oregon Trail trip" to "Take a trip to the Star Trek Studio sets in New York" to "Maybe a day off for my birthday" to "No time off for Vacation this year"
This sucks. There's a way around it now, but it's far too late to rescue this year's plans.
I'm considering trying to take a cross-country Amtrak trip. Fly into Philadelphia and Amtrak back to Seattle. It's $1000 for the Amtrak trip, maybe another $1000 to fly to Philly. And it would take about a week.
Or maybe I'll just forgo a vacation this year at all, and go for a three week Vacation in texas in 2023. Assuming I'm even allowed back in Texas, being one of those evil trans people.
