dolariSo I've had a lot of success with my shortwave radio in the new apartment, and I suddenly thought...would tv reception be pretty good? I have a good open view of the western sky and I can literally see one of the antennas on Queen Anne Hill from here.
I plugged in my old powered rabbit ear antenna in a window with a clear view of the western sky and got a ton of channels, which is awesome.
I've been thinking of cancelling my cable. I couldn't get internet without getting cable, and while I was able to order the somewhat secret "local channels only" package, honestly I only watch CBC and CBS News. Both of which I can get online and CBS comes in fairly clear over the air.
Once I learn more about what will happen post December, I'll start whittling away some of my extra expenditures.
