dolariI kinda stopped VHS tape archiving around 2000, and looking at those last tapes, it seems my last VCR had a tracking problem.
The "static bar" from the tracking on tapes made in that last VCR never really goes away. I can make it go in and out, but never disappear.
Thankfully most of those last tapes are domestic recordings of easily gettable stuff, much of which I already have.
