POLKA PARTY!
When did I become the trans-webcomics den mother? I know EVERYONE now, and they all like me...how did that happen?
The DOR Webcomics Project has put me in touch with every trans-comic artist out there (well as many as I could get), and in the last week, several who I'd never talked with before told me they were huge fans of CS and that they were really happy that I acknowledged them, or that they were "honored" to work with me.
I'm kinda uncomfortable with people putting me on pedestals, and try to make sure I work WITH fans and friends, instead of pontificating from any pulpits. But it's getting really hard to not get a swelled head from this. Just in case, would someone please make sure there's someone whispering in my ear "You are only a (wo)man?" :)

Volunteering is its own reward
You're only an angel.
There, how's that?

From our brief meeting, you do strike me as an excellent den mother. I can see you spitting on a hankie and cleaning a few faces, then teaching them how to tie a knot.

What's sad is, if I'm anything like MY Mexican mom, I'm gonna smack a few of these kids down. ;) "Yo voy a pagar!"
