POLKA PARTY!

When did I become the trans-webcomics den mother? I know EVERYONE now, and they all like me...how did that happen?

The DOR Webcomics Project has put me in touch with every trans-comic artist out there (well as many as I could get), and in the last week, several who I'd never talked with before told me they were huge fans of CS and that they were really happy that I acknowledged them, or that they were "honored" to work with me.

I'm kinda uncomfortable with people putting me on pedestals, and try to make sure I work WITH fans and friends, instead of pontificating from any pulpits. But it's getting really hard to not get a swelled head from this. Just in case, would someone please make sure there's someone whispering in my ear "You are only a (wo)man?" :)

Yo, mortal. Why for art thou taking mine right and proper adorations?

Yo, holmes. Mine eyes not be dissin' you, yo. Don't get all Hera on me. Word.

Volunteering is its own reward

You're the one who took the initiative so to you fall the accolades, but if you want whispers in your ear, here's one:

You're only an angel.

There, how's that?

so, what... I should mention that zit?

From our brief meeting, you do strike me as an excellent den mother. I can see you spitting on a hankie and cleaning a few faces, then teaching them how to tie a knot.

What's sad is, if I'm anything like MY Mexican mom, I'm gonna smack a few of these kids down. ;) "Yo voy a pagar!"
