Dean made it to Baton Rouge just fine, minus a really huge wrong turn in Austin. :)

I'm on my way out to houston in an hour. I've had 12 hours of sleep, I should be good to go there and back with only slight caffination. ;)

One of the bad things about realizing the laptop's network card is broken is that I'm slowly transferring all my MP3s back to it, one DVDRW at a time. I've got 4GB on my laptop, 4 GB burning right now, and about 4 more passes to go.

I miss my network card.....

What kind of laptop? Internal or PCMCIA card? Wired or wireless? (Yes, I have access to extra hardware that might help you. Yes, I'm being pushy - but dammit, I like your comics and if giving you hardware helps keep them coming, I'm going to keep offering it!)
Hugs and knishes,
Your pushy friend.

If you need/want them, I've got a spare Linksys wireless router and wireless card... They work perfectly, but 2.4 GHz is way too crowded around here. I had to trade up to 5.8 - much roomier. Say the word and I'll send them your way.

We went seperately. He was spending a weekend in Baton Rogue, I was spending one day in Houston.

I wouldn't say no, but I already have a PCMCIA network card coming my way.

I've already got a PCMCIA Wired Network card coming to me. However, my poor R. Dorothy could use some serious (L400) hinges and plastics and screws....
