::laughs:: I was playing around on Wikipedia, and came across side effects of Benadryl. I think I'm ODing on it. I'm only taking 50mg everytime I have a breakout, but I've been taking something like that once a day for almost two months. It may not be leaving my system fast enough. But it explains the "passing out" and memory issues I've been having.

Although some of the side effects sound really cool. Having dreams while you're awake sounds neat. Prolly why I've been able to remember them more vividly lately.

Anyways, time to cut back on the dose if I can.

I use a generic form of benadryl as a combination allergy medicine/knockout medication, two capsules of 25 mg each, every night. (Probably a terrible idea, but I haven't had any problems so far. My doctors don't seem to think it's problematic.) It sounds like you might be especially sensitive to it. I haven't had any side effects that I've noticed, but I may well have built up an immunity by this time.

I just bear the allergies because the side effects of medication on my lightweight body tends to be pretty bad. The falling asleep thing you mention, I just feel very tired all day and it's hard to stay awake. I have a feeling if I took it at my current job I'd fall asleep within one hour.

Every day for two MONTHS? I'm surprised you haven't started becoming immune to it. I only take allergy medications when my seasonal allergies get extremely severe because otherwise I build up a tolerance to them, and they basically stop working before I even finish the package. (Pretty much means I can only take them before I have to go to work, and only when the allergies are so bad not taking the meds means not being able to breathe or see or pretty much fuction at all)

You might want to see if there are other allergy meds out there that can help you, and switch off every now and then, to keep from developing too much of a tolerance to them.
