Because of the time chanfe, I didn't have time to edit, proofread, change or clean these strips up. Let me know if they're crap, okay?
I really really really really hate changing time. I'd rather live with dark mornings and light evenings than have to worry about changing clocks. You know why? Because for most of the world, you simply set your clocks forward or back before bed, and wake up with the right time.
Instead, folks like me are awake, and never sure WHAT time it is. Here I though I might get a nice SEVEN hours of sleep on a Saturday night, and because my clocks all changed without TELLING me they changed (Why'd they change that in XP? 9X used to tell you the time was changing, even if you turned on the computer months after it happened) I now have five hours of sleep...which is even LESS sleep than I usually get on Saturday nights. How does this work? I don't manually change the time on any of my cloks, therefore I'm not sure what clocks are updaated or not. So I go to bed at three, thinking it's actually 2, when it really IS 3.
Happens almost every year now.
I really would love to see Daylight Savings Time go away. It would make my nightlife so much easier.

Date: 2006-10-30 06:57 pm (UTC)I got it in my head that when my clock said 3AM it was actually 2AM, and I would get 6 hours of sleep. Instead at 3AM it really WAS 3AM because my computer and phone reset their clocks without telling me it did that...so instead of an already stressful 6 hours of sleep, I only got 5. :(
