Playland 1968-2003
Jan. 22nd, 2007 04:08 pmBack before I did comics, I played video games. All the damned time. My first 15 minutes of fame was on alt.games.mk. When I lived in PA, this was home:
My best UMK3 games were here, my love for World Class Bowling was born here, and when I think of South Park the pinball game, I'll always think of this place. We miss you, Playland.

Date: 2007-01-23 03:55 am (UTC)Splatterhouse, Hat Trick, Diet Go-Go, Track & Field, Donkey Kong (and the rest of the Graveyard Room), Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo!!!... that trivia game near the front door... and possibly The Filthiest Toilet in State College... LOL.
My eternal apologies to the guy who beat me at UMK3 did Cyrax's Friendship - which (the Friendship) I hated so much that I turned around and walked out purely on that basis... :P
A bit bummed not to catch a glimpse of Jeremiah in the video :) , but I'm not complaining. It's still damned good. Dammit. R.I.P., Playland.
