A lot of times, women keep me at arm's length. I'm not quite one of them, and am I not quite of the men. So I don't really interact with non-trans women as often as I'd like.

Sometimes, like today, one will let their guard down, and you "connect" in that way only women can. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it's a good feeling. I only wish it happened more often.

If I have ever made you feel that way, I am truly sorry. If anything, I've backed off because I know that sometimes I can be a little too intense.

i can say that about humanity in general. you just described the life of an aspie (aspergers syndrome person). so i understand perfectly and i'm glad that you had that experience.

Hmmm...

...might be a bit self fulfilling here. I think this has to do with you feeling more self conscious in front of them, perhaps.

Sorry, I have to speak up on this, but no. Many women simply don't like me when they first meet me. To them, I'm the evil monster that is dressing up as a woman to do unspeakable things when to them. That's about 90% of the women I meet. Of those 90%, maybe 10% eventually warm up to me, and maybe 10% of those actually become friendly.

In this case it was one of those 90% who, for about an hour, forgot I was a man in a dress trying to gain her confidence for evil means. :/

I'm glad you had that hour.

And I happen to like your evil nefarious scheming.

Maybe then, you mix in the wrong circles.

I live in what might be considered a "redneck" location, but in general I don't have that problem with the women I meet here, or in general.

Must admit though, that it does upset me when I do meet someone like that, but depending upon my mood, I'll probably tell them how offended I am, and (in polite terms) what a "wanker" they are.

Then again, maybe it's a working class neighbourhood, and that sort of come back is respected. Hmmm - must think about that. I mean, I've chased youths around here up the street with teh axle off a rubbish bin - so maybe I have a rep as being a "crazy bitch" (which they called me as they ran off!
