About this weeks comics.

Closetspace: A lot of times I repeat panels because I've either been lazy, or very busy. I also do a lot of repeated panels with just small changes, since I like subtle emotion or movements. Which kinda goes against what comics are about, but there you go. This week's though was repeated by design, and the only real changes to what we'd planned was just in re arranging the panels (originally, the tuning panel was panel #4, and she'd accidentally tuned it to the sound of the ring...that was just too hard to portray in a non-musical media). All those song lyrics? We WILL be hearing them very soon.

AWFW: This story comes from the fourth of the sixth stories I'm working on for "The Long Road Home." It boils the whole story down to 3 panel pretty well. The picture in Panel 3 is actually from mountains in Antarctica, taken by [livejournal.com profile] dethshadowwalke furing her stay down there. Panel 5 is Google Earth looking out past the edge of the Himalayas. It was strange to draw Nen'a at 50. She was only ever meant to be a quick plot point, not a major character...funny how they do that to you. I'm also VERY proud of the emotion in Hanna's face in Panel 2.

While I never plan to say who or what the tribe is in the comics (I like the idea that they're just a tribe, walking around somewhere, looking for home), there will be more than enough clues to tell you who they are if you look around in the next AWFW. But I've spoiled it so much, I expect people to yell back to me who the tribe became today. :D
