Okay, back to being all serious and stuff.

TUESDAY
Woke up a little earlier than I'm used to. Roughly 11AM. Took my sweet time getting up, about an hour of lunging around in the library room.

How do you lounge around in the library room? Easy. Lie on the bed, and with a half roll across the matress several TRILLION books are at your disposal. I read a bit of "Chicks in Chainmail" which is a REALLY cool series of books...fantasy humor. Good stuff, and highly recommended! I got out of the house about 2PM.

Took my sweet time getting to Deener's place to get his key back to him. I literally took TWO HOURS to go twenty or so miles, mainly because I spent a LOT of time exlporing the area. I saw the Manor cemetary and Decker LAke before taking a really long scenic route to Deans. Once there, I had four hours to kill before Deener came home...so he invited me to dinner later!

I called up my cousin and we hung out at her place for a few hours. Her roomie is a trip. They went to dinner, and I went with them to a place in Austin called Veggie Heaven. That place is a DREAM for people who like cutsey Japanese things. The restaurant serves vegetarian japanese food, which rocks...and the menus have pictures of their cats. An actual family album of their cats, and a little sute story about how one cat wa recently adopted. Add in a few Hello Kitty thingies around the restaurant and I'm in Cute Japanese Stuff Heaven! Not wanting to ruin my appetite, I only got some spring rolls.

Once home, Deener and I went BACK downtown to Thai Noodles, Etc. House and got some take-out. We ate to the wonderfulness of Absolutely fabulous and had a long and involved talk the rest of the evening. Deener is very supportive of the recent "developments" in my life and stuff, and that means a lot ot me. By the time I got close to leaving Austin, it was MUCH too late and I was VERY VERY tired. I stayed overnight, while Dean left for New Girl's place.

WEDNESDAY
I'm the only person in the world, who can take an eighty mile trip and stretch it to FIVE AND ONE HALF HOURS.

Took off at noon....an took the VERY VERY VERY long way to Bee Caves, and then headed out towards Hamilton Pool.. I turned off on Bell Springs Road, only to find out that they CLOSED THE !(@$^ ROAD. Not because the bridge washed out, not because it's dangerous...they closed it because soemone is now using it as their own PRIVATE DRIVEWAY. That kinda Nerfness just makes me mad. Grrr....so I managed to find my way around to where I needed to go. I visited the Puryear cemetary, which is HUGE, but has anly a few headstones. The one I really like the most said:
He was a good horseman.
He was a good cowman.
He was a good man.
I thought that was really sweet. I tried to find two other cemetaries nearby, but one was locked and the other just wasn't there.

I continued onto Henly and from there took a little rural road through a creek. BEAUTIFUL! Lots of "Creek Canyons" and just cool stuff.

From there I went to Payton's Colony, to Blanco. Blanco has a really cool park onthe Blanco River. It's $3 to get in, but I'll definately store this away for future adventures in the area. FRom there, I got to Kendalia and Kreutsberg .

There was a ten or so mile detour here...Kreutzberg road went for about ten miles with a little cemetary in the middle of nowhere. So I followed it...and it went on and on and on. I found a place called "The Cave with No Name" which I'll have to check out. Never heard of it before. But the rest of the trip was stupid...the road just dead ended, no cemetary in site and I had anothe ten mile desolate drive back to the highway. Grrrrr....

Drove into Boerne and then visited the mythical site of the fictional Avery. Very cool area - perfect for a little town where an angel could grow up.

I lucked WAY out, though...driving back on the road I Was doing 60 in a 40 when I crossed paths with a Sherrif's Department Car. Thankfully, I waved at them, and they just waved back. I'd been having run ins with the cops all day and I decided it was timeto go home (I wasn't speeding all the way, or doing anything extremely dangerous, but I was wearing headphones while driving, which is illegal in Texas).

And I hardly pinged on any trees this time. I'm hoping that's a good thing.

Once i got home, though, I was immediately...wht's the word...assaulted by mom and my sister. They gave me several "jabs", but, thankfully, some of the stuff Marca taught me is sinking in and it just deflected harmlessly.

Still, this isn't a walk in the park, and hte sooner I get out of here, and move back to Austin, the better.
