Emily's last few days have beeen packed full. Friday we did the last of our roadtrips.
Saturday we went to Interactiveleaf and Throm's Moviegasm. For the folks from the moviegasm who I hadn't added till now, howdy! I was the girl who wouldn't stop riffing on Remo Williams. I hope I was funny occasionally. For the folks who were there who I'd already added, even more howdys! :) Sorry if I seemed kinda aloof when I first got there, it's hard to put real-world faces to names sometimes, especially when there are 40 people or so around you when you first get there. :)
Sunday we hit the Texas Transportation Museum and got to see a ton of model trains, a ton of real trains, and ride on the caboose of a train weighing several tons. From there, it was a farewell dinner for Emily with my family, Steph, Hattie and (surprisingly) her mom, who I hadn't seen in a long long time, at Mi Tierra in San Antonio. It was a lot of fun.
Emily is in bed now, and I'll be joining her for the last time in a LONG time in a few minutes. I've come to the conclusion that after living with her for two months, just BEING with each other, working out our strengths and weaknesses, learning to co-exist together...we're compatible. Very compatible. :)
I'm going to miss her when she's gone, but as I keep telling myself, tomorrow is just the first day of the countdown until I see her again, whenever that is.
VERY soon, I hope. :)
