It's funny how unmotivated you can be when there's no music or entertainment or just straight up NOISE.

I've spent the whole day cleaning house. The Kitchen is spic and span - most of the dishes are good to go, the DVDs are all put up, clothes arranged, everything in it's spot. And my bedroom is still a disaster area.

I REALLY don't want to clean the bedroom. There's no music in there, there's no entertainment, there's no TV or anything. With the laptop down, it's barren in there. So I'm going to let it go for now. The laptop's replacement HDD should be here tomorrow, and once XP is installed Remote Desktop will work until everything is running.

I have a headache, I have no idea where I put away the aspirin. And my trash smells like hostess cupcakes. If my garbage ALWAYS smelled that way, I think garbagemen would be happier people. :)

Now that the main PC is a fileserver I'm continuing the backup of all my Playstation Games, so they can be played on the PC out through the PC. For some reason, the Playstation 2's laser is going out - it hardly gets used, it's over a year old, but it's having more and more problems playing. This way, I can just mount an ISO on the fileserver, and play on the TV in the living room (or play on the laptop anywhere else in the house).

Not an exciting day, but a semi productive one.

Can't wait for that HDD to get here tomorrow...I can't do much via Knoppix and I'm getting antsy...

Hostess Cupcakes....hmmmm.......

if another PS2 seems like a reasonable use of money to you, it's probably the one thing at CompUSA which is actually worth buying...they had the silver ones, new, for $75 or so there today.

Sometimes silence can be a good thing, but I find doing housework to be much more fun with something on in the background.
