The last two weeks or so have just been one major failure after another, with the last two days or so being downright EVIL days to me, with people talking down to me, nearly getting written up at work, bad dreams, emotional breakdowns, communication breakdowns, and basically just Everything That Could Go Wrong Going Wrong Spectacularly.

I don't believe an astrology, but damn, I believe in Mercury Retrogrades.

Here's a recipe that you all may like from the Roman cooking book...which I couldn't stand. The fact that I couldn't stand it means I made it right. See what I mean about breakdown in communications?

Intrion/Sesame Biscuits
100g/30 oz Sesame Seeds
60g/20 oz Honey
Olive oil

Boil the honey, then drop to a simmer for 10 minutes. Mix in sesame seeds and simmer for 5 more minutes. The second I popped in the sesame seeds, I realized what kind of candy I was making:



I HATE these candies. They're TERRIBLE. Blech. After your done simmering, grease a dish with olive oil and spread the honey seed mixture on a plate. Leave to cool for a few hours - you'll have sesame candy. Blech.
