When we were working on AWFW, we created the "cadre" of angels and their history and how they came to earth and whatnot. This isn't the one I posted a while back about the tribal creation myth, this is "what really happened" in the AWFW universe.

It seems what I created...well...actually exists in the Yazidi-sect religious beliefs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yezidi#Religious_beliefs):

"In the Yazidi belief system, the world was created by a god, and the world is now in the care of a Heptad of seven Holy Beings, often known as Angels or heft sirr (the Seven Mysteries). Preeminent among these is Melek Taus (Tawûsê Melek in Kurdish), the Peacock Angel. "

In the AWFW origin story, the world was created as science says it was, and man evolved from that...but then asix Angels to help man evolve. Preeminent among these is Deyus Pitha, leader of the angels.

There's a little more, such as the standing up against God's will, like Michael has done, and leading his angels against the fight of evil, which exits in man's hearts (which we'll see through the "Fall of Man" strips I've been interspersing over time).

IT's creepy when you read about something that you've been writing as a ficition, echoes in a truth. I need to assimilate some of this into my stories....
