The main page of Dolari.net (http://www.dolari.net) has been updated with a bunch of new links. Poor Irving didn't make the cut, though - he was too big and was covering up too many links. Maybe I'll make him smaller and throw him back on. Wonder how many people knew he existed on that front page. ;)

This is also a good time to let you know - MAKE BACKUPS! AND CHECK THOSE BACKUPS OFTEN! The "core" pages (the main page, COR links, and SFJenn) were being backed up regularly, but I hadn't updated them since 2006. Turns out all the files I had backedup were all 0 byte corrutped files.

D'ohh!

All set now, though. :)

That's EXACTLY what he was doing. :) If you waited on the webpage for 30 seconds, he'd pop up and say "It looks like you're viewing a web page! Here, let me help!"

Unfortuantely, he's too large, and covers too much of the image map blocking out most of the icons.

Seriously, though, I of all people know the importance of backing up. That's why all of my important documents are backed up to tape nightly. The only thing I want backed up that isn't backed up to tape is my iTunes library; that's too large to fit on my 12/24 GB tapes. I back it up by having it on three separate machines: my main PC, my main server, and my work laptop. :-)

Oh, don't worry about it. I make backups from what I have on my HDD - the problem is they were all 0 byte files for some reason. All the tinkering I did last night? Updated website AND fresh new backup. :D I don't need the older ones (Not like my core pages have changed since 2006, really).
