You know, this four hour sleep thing isn't half bad. I'm awake when I need to be awake, and feel sleepy when I need to get to bed. The only problem I'm having is I don't feel like I really SLEPT. You know, that feeling in the morning you get after a good sleep where you stretch your muscles and it's kinda euphoricky? I don't get that - just wake up, and...I'm awake. Same with being awake - while I'm not totally dead to the universe like I feel like on most days - I'm also not "bright eyed and bushy tailed." Just kinda "I'm here." It might just be getting used to the new schedule, though.
Wow, how many posts on sleeping? :)
See ya in four hours.

Date: 2008-03-15 11:23 pm (UTC)Today I did a dumb thing, and I don't suggest it's a solution for you, but here's what I did and here's the result. About 9am I took 2 benedryl for the hay fever. Fine and good, that usually doesn't do much besides make me a little mellow. About 10am, once my little house guests (Girl Scout sleep over last night) left, and my own two angels started in on the usual Saturday whine about "I don't wanna do my chores now, I popped an Adavan. Oops. I spent the next 2 hours on the couch, asleep.
Good luck with the sleep thing. I'll light a candle for you tonight for restful, refreshing sleep in the time frame you need it.
