You know, this four hour sleep thing isn't half bad. I'm awake when I need to be awake, and feel sleepy when I need to get to bed. The only problem I'm having is I don't feel like I really SLEPT. You know, that feeling in the morning you get after a good sleep where you stretch your muscles and it's kinda euphoricky? I don't get that - just wake up, and...I'm awake. Same with being awake - while I'm not totally dead to the universe like I feel like on most days - I'm also not "bright eyed and bushy tailed." Just kinda "I'm here." It might just be getting used to the new schedule, though.

Wow, how many posts on sleeping? :)

See ya in four hours.

There is for me. When I wake up in the morning it's a very good feeling, that slowly ebbs as I wake up. Or if it's a work day, crashes completely after my first call.

Hey, the sleeping thing is a big deal for you now. Post away. If reading it isn't of interest, that's what the scroll is for, ja?
Today I did a dumb thing, and I don't suggest it's a solution for you, but here's what I did and here's the result. About 9am I took 2 benedryl for the hay fever. Fine and good, that usually doesn't do much besides make me a little mellow. About 10am, once my little house guests (Girl Scout sleep over last night) left, and my own two angels started in on the usual Saturday whine about "I don't wanna do my chores now, I popped an Adavan. Oops. I spent the next 2 hours on the couch, asleep.
Good luck with the sleep thing. I'll light a candle for you tonight for restful, refreshing sleep in the time frame you need it.

Back when I lived in the duplex with my ex and his girlfriend, I realized too too late I was allergic to the hardwood pine floors. I was a Benadryl taking FOOL. Constantly popping Benadryl to keep the hives away.

I never slept so much in my life.

Ooh! Allergic to pine floors, that can be rough. I'm allergic to oak pollen (hence my need to down Benadryls like candy). I fear I'm also allergic to my daughter's dog, as the snot factor always gets worse when I'm holding the pup. But being a single mom most of the time, my motto gets to be...

"Sleep is for the weak."

Can I take a nap now?

Kevin slept 12 hours last night, despite his tendancy not to fall asleep.
Whatever works...

As long as you're not bright tailed and bushy eyed... because then you'd be firefly with thick eyebrows :D
