My apartment complex is goofy, mainly because it's in this wierd middle ground of being an apartment complex and being a dorm. We all live in seperate apartments like an apartment complex, but it has a crap load of rules and guidelines you have to follow that most apartments don't have, but dorms do. One of these, is that no matter WHEN your lease actually ends (mine ends July 31st), you MUST renew your apartment by March 31st. I raised a stink about this a year ago, but thankfully, I was ready for it this time.

I put in my notice - I'm leaving the apartment at the end of my lease. July 31st.

And the clock ticks down another tick.
