Hang with it till about 3:40. Really. :)

It's work-safe in context...maybe not so much out of context. Click cautiously.

As much as I love The Who's Tommy, I have to say I prefer the movie soundtrack to the real album...if only because I love hearing all these untrained singers (Jack Nicholson of all people) singing. It's got a certain charm.

Plus, I'm sorry, you can't beat Tina Turner as the Acid Queen. On the album, or the screen. And Keith Moon is CREEPILICIOUSLY CREEPY.

Or Roger Daltrey as grown up Tommy...he's yummy.

That scene has haunted me since I was a small child. Bizarre and nightmarish.

That segment is awesome. And left me with a lingering neurosis about canned baked beans near white fabric.

The Youtube middle-of-the-clip-stillframe is frightening enough. ;)

And if you don't mind me playing One Degrees of RHPS:

The nurse in the Jack Nicholson doctor scene is Imogen Claire, who played a Transylvanian (most notable for whipping out her opera glasses to get a better view of Brad's "dominance").
