Bald mommy will surely fail!
May. 16th, 2008 04:01 amI'm still working on some new Wishworld stuff (The Story 1->Story 2 Linker, and My own Second Chapter tentaively titled "The Chase"), but we've recieved a third story, so a bible update is in order. I'll be doing that tomorrow as well. But a real quick update:

stormwhisper1 - Story #3
Quick Series Bible Updates.
1)Jana wields a dagger, enchanted by a sorceress to do more damage than it should. The angrier Jana is, the more damage the blade does, cutting deeper than it normally would. The more damage it does, the bluer it glows.
2) The Rules for not changing Jana drastically also apply to Sylvia.
3) If you plan on featuring another writer's character, please do not do so without their permission (except for Jana and Sylvia, who are open to all writers)
4) Post Wish World Cities:
a) Arkansas - a vast dangerous wasteland populated by ogres. Northern Arkansas is populated by dwarves who severely restrict non-dwarves from secretive areas. The town of Vita has been created by a wish, and is much like San Antonio, although specifically shaped around a wishwielders D&D campaign
b) Mississippi (Northwestern, Bordering the Mississippi River) - The area has changed in the style of 16th Century Japan's Warring States Period. The area is the tight grip of a powerful daimyo who will stop at nothing to make sure his rule isn't overthrown.)
c) Nebraska (Unnamed Small Town) - This area has become an anime based Japanese suburban town, and attempts to "rewrite" characters into girls-chase-the-guy anime clichés.
d) Pennsylvania (State College/Bellefonte) - reverted to 1997 ten miles around town. Town has minimal services, and recieves limited news of other areas. No Gas for vehicles, but some electrical power in the evenings.
e) South Carolina (Large beach) - TBA
f) Texas (Del Rio) - City is gone and desert has taken over. Contains a dimension warp to another world.
g) Texas (San Antonio) - Dungeons and Dragons-ish Medeival Sword and
Sorcery World. A small villiage of 25,000 in the center of a volcano caldera. Run by Vengeance.
h) Vermont (Unnamed Rural Area) - A lake of molten glass.
There will be a major update on the website, and I'll be EMailing the writers the updated bible, as well as Episodes #1 and #2 for reference.
Wow, this is really happening!

Date: 2008-05-16 01:55 pm (UTC)But other than that go wild - in my story we won't be there long, and there's a cross country chase.
(If you need a different "version" of State College, let me know, I can set mine in Lock Haven, if necessary)

Date: 2008-05-17 03:58 am (UTC)Never mind, that was just a rhetorical reaction to someone else with a PA/Penn State-Austin connection.
Anyway, State College in 1997 DID have electricity and even the intrawebs, as you well know, JENN. :)
PS - Jenn, can I be #w? :D

Date: 2008-05-17 02:28 pm (UTC)Its not a problem for my story, but some people might not be able to simply change cities before finishing and not have to completely rewrite their story.
