T-37 DAYS AND COUNTING

Well, thge results are in. Here's the route:

Day One (Aug 4th): SAN ANTONIO - ALBUQUERQUE - 729mi 12h 39m
Day Two (Aug 5th): ALBUQUERQUE - LAS VEGAS - 709m 11h 17m
Day Three (Aug 6th): LAS VEGAS - SAN FRANCISCO - 582m 9h 4m (+3 hours in Fresno)
Day Four: (Aug 11th)SAN FRANCISCO - SEATTLE - 799m 12h 28m

There's an extra day thrown in there JUST in case something happens to the truck that needs fixing on the way. So there'll either be four days in San Francisco (three days for friends and family, one for fans) if all is well, or three if something happens. Two if I'm really unlucky and one if, well, let's not think about that.

I scrapped the Santa Fe plans because we won't be there long enough to look around, really, so I went straight for Albuquerque to make up some time so we can do a little sighseeing through Arizona.

Also, if you're wondering why I'm staying in Texas for a good deal of the route - if something happens, I have family in Lubbock, and lots of relatives with diesel trucks who can tow my truck back home if something happens. Once I'm in New Mexico, I'm on my own.
