I'm sitting at a table in Losoya , Texas with 600 of my closest relatives.

SIX HUNDRED

My god, my great grandparent were prolific. This towns tripled its population with just us here...

I think this can be compared with finding the rest of that family tree...and finding there are 28,000 names on it (mind you half of them are probably dead now, but still, I must be related to half of northern Germany)

O_o Sweet Jesus, I can count all my relatives on my hands and feet. I can't imagine having a family that huge!

I should post that picture of the '97 reunion again - 475 people came out of 500 (Although that's just from my grandparents up). This time 650 out of 2000 (from my great grandparents up).

Heh heh - true dat. I remember one of my teachers, who grew up in the town, said she could always tell which families were Roman Catholic. They usually came through with two full shopping carts when doing the weekly grocery shopping.
