"New and improved." Probably the most evil phrase in retail. I cant count how many of my favorite food stuffs have been ruined by those accursed words

I miss "Vanilla Coke" which was sold locally for four years.

It was just called Coke II here in the States, and while I was working at the grocery store we had cases of it still.

It became Coke II after Coke Classic was brought back.

Surprisingly, I never even had the New Coke -- by then I was already a Pepsi person.

Pepsi (and New Coke) was WAAAAAY too sweet for me. I also perfer the "spicy" taste of Coke. And, in an example of my insanity, I like them room temperature. :D

My dad used to haul Pepsi from San Antonio to Houston back in the day. He drank Coke on the run. :D

According to a list I had awhile back, the phrase "new and improved" is sales codespeak for "it didn't work the first time" - but in this case, when I drank soda, the original Coke always was my preference in colas.

Sometimes I miss it. Sometimes I give in and enjoy one - but my quest to regain my "girlish figure" usually precludes such indulgences!

Coke is probably one of my worst vices. I drink a LOT of coke, especially lately with the 4 hour sleep shifting junk I did for my job.

After today, no longer an issue. :D
