dolariA wrinkle has formed. The problem is that that the EMail I got from my new job specifically asked for the offer forms to be signed and FAXED in. I have a fax on my laptop, but no one here has a landline I can jack into. So I sent the faxes via a fax-remailer dealy. The fax remailer gave me confirmations that the faxes were recieved...but I've not heard from Speakeasy after numerous calls to see if anyone recieved them.
The apartment complex didn't like that my offer letter wasn't signed (it was EMailed without one, what could I do?), so they called the new job directly. He got a voice mail, and they havent' called him back at all. I'm beginning to think the new job will NOT call them, and without that call, they can't start my application. This is literally the difference between getting an apartment NOW, or getting one two months from now, to get the three pay stubs everyone wants out here.
We'll see what happens....
UPDATE - just got confirmation that the faxes are in - I hope they call the complex today or tomorrow....
