Artist Days at Casa Lindsey rock. We both got CS and VE drawn up. I hope I can find some time to actually FINISH the comic and have it up Sunday, but...well....

FRIDAY: Work, then cash paycheck, pay rent, and head to Canada!
SATURDAY: Canada.
SUNDAY: Canada. Back home in the evening to wait on parents arrival.
MONDAY: Work.
TUESDAY: Install Cable and Internet, Day in either Seattle and/or Snoqualmie or Mt Ranier.
WEDNESDAY: Day in Canada

I may try to bring my art and laptop with me to Canada tis weekend so I cna upload it...but at the same time, I'd hate for that laptop to be siezed on the way down. There's nothing on it that could hurt me (the main backup drive is in the house), but it's the only laptop I have.

I need to work on the Las Vegas->San Francisco trip write up.....

That's probably not a good idea. You don't want to give the Department of Homeland Paranoia any more excuses than they already have.

I know what you mean. I'd be very loath to take my PowerBook with me on an international trip. I'm not so much worried about what might be on it, as the necessary drive contents are backed up elsewhere and the home directories are encrypted. On the other hand, it IS my only decent personal laptop. At least with the company-provided laptop it's not on me to replace it if DHS decides to be anal and confiscates it.
