Actually, something DID happen today.
My father used to own ten acres in Comfort, Texas. As part of a Bankruptcy litigation, he had to give up 9 1/2 acres to pay debts. Dad divvies up the property such that the 9 1/2 acres were pretty much unbuildable. The eraltor sold it three times. Thre times the owners sold it back. Today, Dad managed to take the half acre, and put it down as a down payment on the ramaining 9 1/2 acres.
So now we have 9 1/2 acres of land. Three years from now, if no one ahs bought that 1/2 acre (which is really wierdly partitioned) we will buy it back.
And eventually it will get into my hot little hands. :) He promised.
