Goddammit.
Jan. 29th, 2009 01:56 amHow to waste the precious little time you have away from work:
1) Go to a grocery store everyone brags about as being the best, then find out they dont' take Credit Cards.
2) Have Google Maps run you all around Kent after having it find another 24 hour grocery.
3) Spend 45 minutes buying groceries before a manager finds you asks you "How did you get in here?" and "We're closed!"
4) Have them attempt to check you out and then say they can't do it and take your cart away.
At home, time wasted, and empty handed. Not going to that chain again....

Date: 2009-01-30 04:05 am (UTC)A supermarket that doesn't take credit cards in this day and age? Where I live, just about every supermarket chain honors charge and debit -- only Aldi, which recently entered Florida with their "smart shopping" concept, doesn't honor them. The el cheapo dollar stores such as Dollar General, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree don't take them either, though they're slowly warming up to the concept.
