A few weeks ago, I asked y'all to help decide on outfits from online. Unfortuantely I couldnt' go through with any of the suggestions because of the paycheck implosion, and tonight, most of htose outfits were gone.
Which is okay - turns out I was going to the wrong website. I thought I was going to Lane Bryant, but I used to shop with Woman Within. Oops...their sleection was much better.
Unfortuanetly, though, I still couldn't go with what y'all had picked out because after looking over my clothes, some of which I've had for over a decade...they really needed replacing. Again, I didn't buy anything as feminine as I'd like (I tend to wear skirts and nice patterned or stitched blouses when I can) to keep the crazies at bay. It's amazing how much attention a skirt can get from the mentally confused.

So, I bought two pairs of jeans to replace the one that was in tatters (and the other which is getting pretty tattered as well). My tangerine top has long since become stained and marked and ugly to wear, so I replaced that with the orangy button top. Another red top I've had since day one has a nasty hole in it, and has been replaced with something less pullovery, and more layered. An old top I had that was purple that I lost at a Trinoc Con somewhere (prolly the 2005 one, cause I have pictures wearing it) has finally been replaced so I can wear my purple skirt again.
The flowery skirt I got from
tangentsferret many years ago, and my favorite skirt of all time, is starting to show it's age as well. Unfortuantely, the site didn't have any good broomstick skirt replacements yet - but those should be coming up as seasons change.
I've been wearing the same pair of pants for two weeks, washing them every few days...it'll be nice to get into some new clothes while I can afford it.
On the money front, I have half of rent save, all my bills are now current, my credit cards each got paid $100. It's looking like I may get back on track again if I can keep my bills low and rent paid.
