Every so often, the idea of Texas Secessionism comes up, usually by Right Wing Nuts who no longer want taxes, folks afraid of gun control, or people with an inflated sense of Texas Patriotism.
While I'm not opposed to such measures (I fall under that last condition, but realize "we've got it pretty good where we are, you know"), I wonder which of those last three the Governor falls under? Well, he is a Texas Republican...you can prolly figure it out. :D

Mind you, this is just a push for some Federal Legislation pushing for States Rights, but its couched in "we can run things for ourselves, you know ::wink wink::"
