Did you watch Law & Order UK? Aside from barely being able to understand the old detective, i thought it was pretty nifty.

Sadly no one in the US is showing iut, and my connection is so unreliable I can't torrent stuff to get it. :(

I miss Torchwood, Sarah Jane, Corner Gas and Everything Else. :(

No kidding? I thought we were watching the pilot at the same time it was on US TV like normal. No idea what any of the other shows you mentioned are :)

Nah, if it's on CBC, they get a LOT of programming from Britain we don't (and sadly, I don't get CBUT without cable). They were showing Doctor Who a full year before cable ever picked it up here. :)

Corner Gas, to me, is hilarious. Prolly the most family friendly show that's GENUINELY funny I've ever seen (versis family friendly and just pure schmaltz). Give it a shot. It's on CTV, although may not be airing anymore.

The other shows are all Doctor WHo BBC Spinoffs. :D

I can never tell what's what here! J's parents have the "everything" cable package so we get like 30 Canadian channels and 400 American channels and some PPV channels and some on-demand channels and a bunch of other random crap. It's so ridiculous i actually find it's easier/quicker to download shows off the internet than it is to figure out which channel they're on TV! We only found Law & Order UK by accident, we'll probably never find it again :-)

J hates Corner Gas but i've still never seen it, i'll keep an eye open...
