Sometimes you gotta do a retake. Last week I delayed Closetspace a few days because I didn't think the art was any good. It'd been a year since I 'd drawn Allison, and kinda forgot how she looked. So I re-drew the strip. Sometimes a few days CAN make a difference:



Speaking of befores and afters, the switch to DTV has made my recording stuff off the air absolutely GORGEOUS. Get a looksie at the difference:



Looks even sharper when it's not all squinched down to 320x240.

Of course, soft fuzzy shadows and indirect lighting only happen in Hollywood Space (and only some of that, too). Real space is stark bright and inky black with nothing in between. But you know that.

Um, I go through "rough patches" where everything I draw looks "odd", like a bit of me that draws if "offline". I ought to do model sheets for characters but really I just refer to previous pages.

Digital TV. A good thing prehaps and I'm ready for (and using) it, but my old analogue TVs, which I've had for 30 years, still work!
