Does that mean that even though it wasn't what you thought you were applying for, you were offered and accepted the position, or that you were qualified for it, but didn't get or take the offer because of the difference in what you thought vs. what it was?

The job wasn't I thought it was, it was more in line with what I do. The tech questions? I ROCKED them. Totally rocked them. They didn't offer me the job yet, but if they offer, I'll take it.

One of my best and funnest jobs came that way - a headhunter outfir set me up with a job-fair interview for a TRW group that wanted an ElectrICAL Engineer, not and ElectrONICS Engineer. But another group that DID need my 1337 5ki11z0rz looked at me resume and the Rest Was History.
For about 5 years, 'til the bottom fell out of aerospace, at least. 8D
