Wow.

Episode 12 is finished.

In two days.

48 hours.

Wow.

And Hanna, Shadow #3 and Morningstar are telling me that The Dancing Shadows shouldn't end at episode #12, but in episode #14. So two more weeks before my own mini vacation. I got an excellent response from Aadroma to Episode #12, so hopefully it'll go over well. Right now, my biggest problem is making it clear that Andrea ALREADY believes she's an angel, and that the others aren't pushing her into it, while still making it clear that Hanna is trying to push her into it. Confusing...plus I also need to explain The Rules of War in the next two episodes. We can't have them vanquishing a shadow, only to have one reappear and even "cooperate."

Yeesh, it gets complicated. Just let the characters do their thing - they'll figure it out....

I put in another application today...my leads are seriously drying up, and I'm beginning to think that getting a job in the computer field is hopeless. Thing is, it's the only real marketable skill I have (besides writing and drawing, and making a living on that is darned near impossible (shakes fist at Stephen King & Ben Dunn)).

Any suggestions for job leads? I mean, y'all have been reading for almost a year. Other than professional whiner, what do you suggest?

Go to LA and find my friend Chris. He's wedging himself into the world of film production, maybe that's something you could aim for?????????

I wuold like to, yes. But as Chris will tell you, writing for movies is a dangerous prospect. Some places will buy your script simply to sit on it (They don't think it's good enough to make, but it IS good enough that others might wanna make it), or will rewrite it beyond belief (The original script to Spider-Man had him fighting Kingpin, not Green Goblin), and just getting in the door witho breaking your foot is nigh impossible. I'd like to do film, but I think I'd tear my hair out trying it.

TeeVee, however. Once you're established in a writing team, your script are generally not re-written,a s they are re-conformed. I can live with that. If I write "Boy Meets Girl" I'd much rather have it rewritten for TeeVee as "Cyborg Boy meets Reptile Girl." If it were a movie script, it could turn into "Cyborg Killer Mutant Plant eats Floating ASteroid Girl with big boobs."

Any suggestions he can give me?
