Finally, a decade in the making! A decade in the procrastinating....



I'm rather unhappy with it (aren't I always?) but my main reason for procrastinating SO long is my drawn background just doesn't match the "painted" first panel. That's the main reason this comic never wanted to be drawn. But at leastit's done...I'm sure the rest will come along MUCH easier.

I still haven't seen my truck today...but mom came home with a little present. It wasn't my truck or anything, no, Dad took it from my grandmother's to work. I'm beginning to wonder if they're hiding it from me. Meh. anyways, mom came home wiht a dilapidated old 486 computer she pulled from someone's garbage. However, it had a nice 800MB Hard drive, so now I'm up to about a 2 GB of drives. FINALLY. Somehow, it's slowing mys ystem down, though...so I think I need to make my DVD player a master, and the new drive a slave. My drives are WAY too slow. Anyone got a nice 30GB drive I can have? :)

I sure hope Carrot is happier. Wherever she is....

I did some detective work of my own. Her last post on the FAE board was on the 17th of April, in a thread titled "Going away for a while." It's moderators-only, so I can't read it. Her last activity on the board, though, was just after midnight on the 20th. She hasn't been mentioned by name in any recent posts. That's all I know. I could, perhaps, E-mail Syleniel, who's probably the moderator with whom I'm on the best terms, and find out if she knows anything.

It's the uncertainty that's the worst.

Unfortunately, they don't know anything either. In that post, she apparently says she's going to be away for a while and that's it. It leaves the door open for her to come back.
