You know what I lament most about my transition? Pockets. I wear a jacket, not cause its cold, but because it has pockets. I've been known to put tall cups of tea or soda in my pockets and not spill them. Can't do that with a purse. Well, not easily. :D

Yes, but they're almost always these little itty bitty pockets I can't put hardly anything in.

I want gargantuan pockets, and lots of them :)

I argue that, I have HUGE pockets in actual "girly" clothes like sweat shirts and cartigans :) Living in Seattle you can now take advatage of sweaters...they can have some great pockets

I hate purses so much. I have a bomber jacket with enough space to fit two beers in each pocket! Great for sneaking things into movie theaters!

Golly, I made a shoulder bag out of a pair of old trousers (http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Sew-a-Tote-Bag-Using-Your-Old-Clothes) by cutting off the legs (used them for the strap) and sewing up the holes. It had heaps of room (depending on how large one's bum is) and plenty of exterior pockets. Very handy running about. I currently use it for dog walking (to hold plastic bags / toilet roles / leashes et cetera).
