There are LOTS more people doing this than just you. I get it in IM and EMail quite a bit. I'd been meaning to do this for a while, actually. Your post just reminded me to do it.

Come now - a crossover is generally between two strips and two creators/creative teams. There's no guarantee that either party knows what the other's doing (she says having done one or two in the past for paper comics)!

A crossover is when two comics start featuring characters from each others comics. While THIS is a collaborative project, CS and VE are very much non-collaborative. CS is my baby and VE is hers.

My big problem is that people are asking me about Erin's personal life, her opinions, "Why isn't she replying to my EMails" and the like.
Its not my place to answer for her, make assumptions of wy she does stuff, and generally ask personal questions about a very private person. I'm a fellow cartoonist, not her PR department.

I sometimes face this same issue, with people expecting me to be the conduit to Robin Wood. Much like Robin, I am sure that Erin is able to speak on her own behalf. :-D
