Feb. 12th, 2010 01:08 pmI think the truck may be done for. Started noticing puffs of white smoke recently. I just checked the oil - its got little clumps of creamy oil mixed in with the good oil. 10 to 1 its a blown head gasket.
May have to just bite the bullet and get a new pickup soon.
Dammit.

Date: 2010-02-15 02:18 pm (UTC)Just thought I'd mention that having had a chance to sit and be driven around in one, it's more impressive than I first gave it credit for. But, the gas engine always kicks in when it needs to go, simply turning on the heat does it. But driving around the parkade is quiet. So eerie.

Date: 2010-02-17 07:58 pm (UTC)Oh, and to answer your earlier question, I love having a pickup because (1) It's just me and Emily, so I don't need a bigger car, and (2) being able to haul stuff around without any kind of special arrangements is great for me and my friends (I just delivered Erin's new bed in the pickup, and also moved house a few years ago in one fell swoop).
