It wasn't MK that stopped being fun. I love MK4, I think MKG is the
Bees Knees. I'm even impressed by what I've seen of MKDA. It's this
group that stopped being fun. There was no one person who made me
leave AGMk. It wasn't specifically Matt, ir wasn't specifically
Gumbo, wasn't specifically anyone. I left because of the state of
this group. Look at this thread. This thread is why I left the
group.
There is no MK discussion here. All we have are little egos running
around proclaiming how great they are. We have Shearer one-upping
Gumbo one-upping Shearer. We have Marty Kombat being eighty different
people at one. We have MKX saying "Here's your fucking news, idiots.
Worship us even though MK sucks." This doesn't serve the game, this
doesn't serve the people who come here for info. It's self-serving
egoist chest-thumping tree-pissing crap. I'll admint, I was guilty of
that, too, but at least there was an effort to serve when possible.
Maybe I'm phrasing this wrong. There isn't any one person who made me
leave. It's about 95% of the people and 95% of the shit that goes on
here that made me leave. I still post on AGSF2, and other groups.
Heck, I'll even crosspost here when it's applicable. But it stopped
being fun in here. And when it's not fun, it's not worth it.
