Talk about your wierd days. Everything was just funky from Minute One.

When I woke up, I sauntered downstairs for berakfast, only to find the entire living room, most of the foyer, and a good deal of the den's carpet ripped up.

Not a SINGLE toilet in this house works properly. And it seems that the tank on the bottom toilet flushed alright, but it just never stopped filling the tank in the back. It filled till it overflowed. All night long. I got a quick blame for it, but that changed after I told them I didn't use it last night....

That's also when I noticed my Dad was home. He was supposed to have the truck today to work on his diesel. HE said he was too worn out from the sun and being out of shape so he came home early. That gave me the pickup.

So off I went to hike. This time, I went in the reverse direction that I did last time...and I made it about a half mile when I had to stop. The terrain was much hillier going backwards, and MUCH steeper MUCH quicker. So much so that a two people who passed me, passed me TWICE. Some of these people even RUN this course. WOW. However, I did manage to make ti, and even cut a good twenty minutes off my last time. I figure now, tha tit's NOT a four mile hike, but a SIX mile hike. Not bad time, though. I walk a mile in about twenty minutes or so.

However, I kept feeling that someone was watching me the whole time...I got this feeling that there was someone behind me, trying to get my attention. I'd hear trees rustling like someone was leaning on them and so on. Kinda freaky. And wasps. Wasps everywhere...these wierd blue looking wasps.

Another thing that upset me...well...when I was younger, I had this problem with women. Not an over-generalized behaviour I hated, or attitudes or anything like that. I hated them because they WERE women. They had everything I was looking for in life nicely packed inside their bellies and hanging off thier chests. And I hated that. I hated it a lot. To the point where I'd sneer at them, or grumble at the site of them. It got so bad that I wasn't visiting my best friend because she was a woman. I got over it, thankfully...at least I thought I did.

During the hike, several women passed me (I'm slow, but steady) and everytime they did, I had to fight from growling at them.

I NEED to get out of here. I NEED to get back on my medication. I NEED some help, here, world.

I came home and finished lettering CS #4.

Got the pickup for Thursday through Tuesday - another wierdness.

At least I'll be out of the house for this weekend. Gonna help Dean move - hope I don't see that internet homewrecker.

Sounds like dirt daubers to me. They don't sting, and usually just run away if you swat at them, but you do find the occassionally aggressive one. Never get one down your shirt. They don't sting, but they're not opposed to drilling holes in you.

::Drilling holes?!::

Eep!

They didn't seem to fly, either - they liked to crawl on the ground, too.

One of the more cool things I saw on my little hike was a tree with a big thingy of hair...which was actually a nest of spiders. Most cool. I dig nature....

Definitely dirt daubers. They were either getting mud for their nests or they were ground nesting. Either is possible. They make those mud tube nests that look like pan pipes made of dirt, not paper ones like wasps.
