Yes, the layoff is still happening. It's an eight week layoff, meant to keep AwesomeJob from being forced to hire me due to temp laws in WA.

It's not just Washington, for the record; Dell does the same thing with certain temp jobs here in Texas, and for the same reasons. Blame MicroSoft and Apple.
