This really needs to be more of a parallel process than a serial one. You had too much at stake over this potential, which is never a good thing for a crapshoot with dice that are predisposed to rolling up as ones.

SL, who doesn't have a very good track record with this sort of thing either

I'm going to be extrememly harsh here, so forgive me.

NO FUCKING DUH.

Do you think I'm finding one entry, replying to it and waiting for a callback? Putting all my eggs in one basket? Picking and choosing what I apply to?

Not a chance. I have applied to at least seventeen other jobs this last week alone. After my interview, I continued to apply.

My interviews are serial, my efforts are parrallel.

Thank you, and GOOD DAY.

Apologies. I obviously filled in blanks incorrectly. Perhaps I'm using my owne abyssmal track record to fill them in.

Tell me about it. I hope your search is going a heckuva lot better than mine.

Ouch. You know, we all seem to be in similar boats-- I guess that's sort of the definition of "terrible job market." That nanny job seems to be the best thing going for you at the moment, if only, as SL said, to get you out of your parents' house. $50 a week isn't a lot, but you'll be housed and fed, and the money should help keep you in hormones, which I suspect will alone make the situation a lot more bearable.

It won't pay for hormones...that's roughly $150 a month, plus $80 for doctors visits when it's time to go.

And wether IW ant the job or not, I will probably have to take it. There's simply nothing else, and I'm getting suicidal.

I don't manage. I actually have four prescriptions. Hormonal treatments which are Estradiol and Spironolactone. I have two other medication, Toprol and Lipitor. All together, that's over $300 a month in drugs. I havent' popped a pill since November. Just ain't got no cash.

I didn't realize it was quite that much; I'm sorry. But as always, if there's anything within my power that could help, please let me know.
