"which cover me from Jan 1" - Does this mean they'll be reimbursing you any of the $272?

(especially given that if they'd gotten back to you sooner you might have been covered at the time!)

I'm hoping they'll cover the Doctor's visit and all my prescriptions. That'd be about $600 back. But I actually have no faith in the American medical insurance system.
