Sugar Free drinks all taste like motor oil to me. Coke Zero is tolerable. Lifewater is vile. Stupid genes makin me give up my sugar....

...and I'd made some sweet lemon tea before all this happened.

I found it was easier to just drink things that weren't sweetened at all, rather than artificial sweeteners. The sweetness made me want sweet things all the same, but after some time of drinking unsweetened things, my tastes shifted.

Yes - I've done the same as well. I've moved to bottled green and other teas from carbonated sugary stuff. There really are some nice and refreshing drinks out there which either don't use a lot of sugar, or use a natural sweetness.

Sugar free drinks are nasty. I had to give those up too to break my soda addiction, and switch to water, tea, seltzer, and coffee. Some agave nectar in a tea that just needs sweet (lower glycemic index). Good tea doesn't need sugar, thankfully!

Crystal Light is good as well.
Switching drinks is a pain at first but after awhile you get used to it.
