So last night, last night, I sat down to watch some TV at 1AM, and the next thing I know, its 5AM. so I get ready for bed, and the next thing I know it's 2PM. I've been asleep for just over 12 hours. What the heck?!

Yesterday I wasn't feeling too well, and called up Erin to let her now I wasn't coming to dinner. Surprise! She wasn't either...soI hope Andy and Marca don't think I only go over to see Erin.

So I stayed home and tended to my sore feet, and became bored.

Insanely completely mightily bored.

DANGEROUSLY BORED.

Which means I got geeky. VERY geeky. While I was at home, mom found a computer on the curb waiting to be picked up. So she picked it up. I pulled it out and scavenged for parts, and found a 500 MB drive. Nothing spectacular, but functional.

I plugged it in to see what programs were on the machine...nothing usable. AOL 3.0, SkiFree. So.

I formatted the drive, reinstalled Windows 3.11 and DOS 6.22 and got it running. Most of my hardware even works in Win 3.11, and the whole system works a bit faster, of all things. So now I have a dedicated DOS partition, and can upgrade to Windows 2000, or another non-DOS Operating System

THIS ROCKS.

I told you I was dangerously bored.

I also made way too much spaghetti, because I have no idea to judge how much spaghetti will feel one person. S at least I have dinner for the next few weeks. :)

Realization is setting in.

I'm cleaning the house, and I've packed my first box. Trying to figure out how to pack what up. What needs to go where, when and how.

I'm borrowing money from someone who shouldn't be giving it to me. She's buying me groceries. Offered to buy some toiletries. She shouldn't be doing this. No one should.

In the game of life, it's very hard to be a good loser.

Deener came over today, with milk, candies and a dinner for me. She also got us some fried chicken. She's a sweetie. I still love the gal, and it's stuff like this that really stings. She shouldn't have to do this, and does. Gods, I miss her.

We watched a lot of Whose Line is it Anyway?, Law and Order and generally vegged. I like having her here. I really do. After she left, I deposited the money she lent me, and mom gave me, and after I finish this entry, I gotta pay my rent for tomorrow.

I'm having an incredible discussion about Time Travel (which came form You Can't Do that of Television as we speak). I'd love for Time Travel to be possible, but it would be so...dangerous. Mess one thing up and everything screwed. I still wanna go back in to time and have a burger in 1955. Wonder what that would screw up.

What a day. I promise not to cry tomorrow.
