Why do I keep pouring myself a bowl of Grapenuts, when I know FULL WELL I hate Grape Nuts. They taste good for about a minute, then get soggy AND crunchy at the saem tiem and make a mess in the bowl and just plain yuck.
Flurry of activity today.
I spent mos of te day writing huge long EMails to "Our Friend' about the Otherkin stuff. I'm drinking it all in as fast as they can serve it. I've decide to use a little of wha tI've found out in AWFW, and later in Part 9 of the Polychronicon. One of the new scenes coming from this Otherkin stuff is a neat shot of Andrea complaining that "Her wings hurt." After finally consiolidating and answering all the EMails at once, I moved onto:
Writing the first 10 episodes of A Wish for Wings for Jenni. I've decided to restart from scratch, which has allowed me to expand some scenes here adn there that I wasn't able to do before, such as an actual fight between the Angels and Shadows, and a better intro to the stuffed animal Andrea talks to.
Plus, I keep getting surprised at my characters. :) Andrea did something that was not only cute, but very powerful. It was nice, also, to see "The Dancing Shadows" end where it was supposed to, and not at the fireball shot where I had to pull the plug on it.
Another feature I'll be having for A Wish for Wings will be called "Tellings." Basically, it'll be stories done by guest artists inside the AWFW universe. They will write and draw the trips and I'll put them up seperately as their own strips. Already Elenderel has started on her "Telling" of AWFW, which I liked a LOT. As a matter of fact, I'm trying hard not to steal her idea for a certain scene. :)
Wigth all that going on, there wasn't much time for much else...I need to get to work on Closetspace, which I'l lpost up as SOON as I get this computer fixed.
