A weekend away from the folks.

Now if I only had my pickup so I could actually run around and put in applications. But that'll never happen. I think half the reason they won't GIVE me the truck is so I can't apply for jobs and go back to Austin.

Bastards.

But anyways...weekend comes. Weekend away fro mfamily. Weekend at a ren faire of all things. Never been to one. Sounds cool.

Jenn's Texas Fact of the Week: There's a Bar B Cue place on Hwy 95 between Bartlett and Granger called the No Teeth BarBCue. Their slogan is "You don't need no teeth to eat our meat." This came from an old lady who went to the restaurant and asked for her Bar B Cue extra tender. When the cook/owner asked why, she said it was because she had really loose dentures. He just kept making it that way. There's also a place in Sterling City that sells flapjacks the size of hubcaps for $1.50. Dunno if I mentioned that before or not.

Stupid Jenn Fact: I've been watching wrestling for 15 years. Not 15 years straight, but you get the picture.

Added all my friends to the Dream Journal friends list. Feel free to comment on what wierdo I am when I dream, interpretations, and general Poke Fun At Jenn-ism.

Plus marvel at Jeffy, King of Fish. :)

Forgive all the typos - I write these usually as soon as I get up.

Now I know where MArisa gets her little martyr complex.

You reap what you sew, Dad.

And your passive aggressive shit doesn't work on me either.

This is something I would try.

The craziest thing I ever tried was going from Decatur, Alabama to San Antonio, Texas, non-stop. The section from Nachitoches, LA to San Antonio, TX mostly beign on county roads following the old Camino Real highway. The trip took over 18 hours.

My longest roadtrip witout an extended stop was San Antonio to State College. I left San Antonio 1AM on a Friday Morning, napped in San Marcos, TX, napped again in Texarkana, TX drove srtaight onto Nashville, TN. Slept 8 hours in my truck. From about 10AM to I drove straight through to State College, getting htere a full day ahead of schedule at 11PM Saturday Night. I then broke Deener's stereo. :)

If you count stopping, the longest roadtrip I ever did was State College to Atlanta to visit Dave, Atlanta to Decatur, Alabama, (via Chattanooga, TN) to visit Angie, and then straight on to San Antonio. That took two weeks, but I spent about a week at each stop.
