The craziest thing I ever tried was going from Decatur, Alabama to San Antonio, Texas, non-stop. The section from Nachitoches, LA to San Antonio, TX mostly beign on county roads following the old Camino Real highway. The trip took over 18 hours.
My longest roadtrip witout an extended stop was San Antonio to State College. I left San Antonio 1AM on a Friday Morning, napped in San Marcos, TX, napped again in Texarkana, TX drove srtaight onto Nashville, TN. Slept 8 hours in my truck. From about 10AM to I drove straight through to State College, getting htere a full day ahead of schedule at 11PM Saturday Night. I then broke Deener's stereo. :)
If you count stopping, the longest roadtrip I ever did was State College to Atlanta to visit Dave, Atlanta to Decatur, Alabama, (via Chattanooga, TN) to visit Angie, and then straight on to San Antonio. That took two weeks, but I spent about a week at each stop.
