Got "home" yesterday. Not much else to say other than ROBOTECH ROBOTECH ROBOTECH (and Cowboy Bebop)

Today I spent the whole day rearranging my room, and trying to get the Internet Connection Sharing working on both computers. Turns out my sister's machine's network card is dead. Damn.

I moved my computer in here. The reason? I'm tired of constantly being "guarded." Constantly having someone olver my shoulder. But now - I'm alone until they decide I can't be trusted with a locked door. The other upside? I CAN WATCH DVDS ON MY TEEVEE! Woo!

Speaking of DVDs, I was never a big fan of Bakshi's version of LOTR. I'm a big believer in "If you want to make a cartoon, don't rotoscope it. Or at least use less rotoscopr than draftmanship." Not to mention that the movie doens't finish. :) For some reason my sister rented this for me. Still, it's a good story, even if it isn't finished. I just wish they'd decide on wether it's "Saruman" or "Aruman."

And now, I sit here, wanting to write out a story for a friend, so I can get her to give me some elven names...and I'm keep getting this "I'm not ready to be written yet" feeling from the story, even if it's just keypoints of just the first episode. I think it has something to do with ahving the main elvish characters with no names. The main reason I'm writing this to begin with. There are a few Elvish languages out there, and I'm terrible afraid of naming a character something that sounds neat, but translates out to "Aluminum Can" "Hatrack" "Kitty Loaf" or, worse yet, "Jim J. Bullock."

But I'm gonna do it anyways.... )
